FrontOffice access

FrontOffice is the operational interface of Planograma WMS, used by the warehouse operators directly at the workplace (on the production line or at the loading ramp). Unlike BackOffice — where the supervisors configure and manage the data — FrontOffice offers simple screens, optimized for working with the scanner.

How you access FrontOffice

1. Connect in the application with your user and password (the same login page as for BackOffice — see BackOffice access).
2. In the top-right corner, press on your account name to open the menu.
3. Choose the desired operational screen:

The options available in the menu depend on the permissions of your account. An operator sees Production only if they have the right on the production line, respectively Ramp scanning only if they have the right on the outbound ramps. If you do not see an option, ask the administrator to grant you the corresponding permission from Users.

The FrontOffice screens

  The screen on the production line: you see the production order in progress, you enter the quantities of consumed raw materials and you finalize the production process. See also the complete flow in Production › Order list.

• Ramp scanning

  The screen at the loading ramp: you scan and validate the outbound documents (the orders) prepared for shipping, on the assigned ramp. See also Outbound ramps.

Note

The actual scanning operations in the warehouse (creating and validating documents, inventory, SSCC) are done from the Mobile terminal, a separate application.
