What is Planograma

Planograma is a warehouse management system (WMS — Warehouse Management System) that helps you control the entire journey of the goods through the warehouse:

Receipt → Storage → Order → Picking → Packing → Shipping
(NIR) (locations) (client) (collection) (verification) (AWB)

What you can do with Planograma

Activity Description
Goods receipt (NIR) Register the goods received from suppliers and place them on locations.
Stock management See in real time which products you have, in what quantity and in which location.
Orders Receive orders (from the ERP or manually) and prepare them for delivery.
Picking Collect the products from locations with the help of the scanner.
Packing Check and pack the order before shipping.
Transfer Move the goods from one location to another.
Inventory Count and reconcile the actual stock with the one in the system.
Reports Export to Excel stock, order and productivity reports.

How it is used, in practice

Planograma has two "faces":

  • The terminal (the scanner) — used by the warehouse operators for physical tasks: barcode scanning, receipt, picking, packing, inventory, transfer.
  • The web interface — used by supervisors and administrators to configure, monitor and report: orders, stocks, settings, reports.

Integration with your ERP

Planograma connects with ERP systems (e.g. SoftOne, Nexus). Orders, products and documents can be synchronized automatically, and invoices/AWBs can be generated at order completion. The details specific to your integration are communicated to you by the implementation team.

Terms you will encounter often

A few abbreviations appear everywhere in the application. You can find them explained in detail in the Glossary of terms, but in short:

  • NIR — the goods receipt document.
  • AWB — the shipping label/document of the parcel.
  • SSCC — the unique code of a logistics unit (pallet/parcel).
  • Picking — collecting products from locations for an order.
  • FEFO — the "first to expire, first out" rule.
