GS1 SSCC-18

The CREATE GS1 SSCC-18 option in the SSCC menu lets you generate SSCC codes in the standard GS1 SSCC-18 format (the 18-digit code used to identify logistic units). Unlike the internal SSCC, which uses its own numbering, the GS1 code is built based on your company's GS1 company prefix.

Warning

To be able to generate GS1 codes you must have a GS1 company prefix configured in Planograma. If it is missing, the terminal displays a warning message and sends you back to the main menu. In this case, contact an administrator.
