Adding a list and outbounds

How to add a new picking list

  • Go to Documents → Picking lists
  • Press the Add button

On the creation page you fill in a single field:

  • Type — the type of documents grouped in the list. The available option is Outbound (customer orders).

Press Add to create the list. You are redirected to the list page, where you add the outbounds you want to prepare together.

Adding outbounds to the list

While the list is in the Active status, on its page you have a form from which you can add outbounds (orders) to the list. You add the desired outbounds one by one; each added outbound appears in the table with the list documents. You can remove an outbound from the list as long as it has not yet been prepared.

If an added outbound does not yet have all the stock available, it remains visible in the list with the Waiting for goods status, and the list displays a warning until the stock becomes available.

Assigning the picker

You can assign a picker to the list before preparing it, using the assignment button on the list page. If the mandatory picker feature is enabled, you must choose a picker before you can prepare the list. The assigned picker can be changed later.

Preparing the list

When all the desired outbounds are in the list, press the prepare button. The list moves to the Prepared status, and the included outbounds are sent for picking. After the products are picked, the list and the outbounds advance to validation and packing.

Picking lists can also be generated automatically from the outbounds list (for example, grouping outbounds by a common criterion), depending on your company's configuration.
