Adding a new client

How to add a new client

  • Go to Master data → Clients
  • Press the Add button

On the next page you configure the new client. The add page has four sections to fill in:

General information

This section contains three fields and a toggle: the client name, the VAT number, the registration number and the status.

  • Name — enter the client name. Mandatory field.
  • VAT number (CUI) — enter the client's fiscal identification code. Currently not mandatory.
  • Registration number — enter the client's registration number. Currently not mandatory.
  • Status — toggle for activating or deactivating the client. Default is "active".

Contact information

This section contains five fields: address, phone, fax, email and website. It is not mandatory.

  • Address — enter the client's full address.
  • Phone — enter the client's phone number.
  • Fax — enter the client's fax number.
  • Email — enter the client's email address.
  • Website — enter the client's website.

Banking information

This section contains two fields and two toggles: bank, Iban, VAT payer and VAT on collection. It is not mandatory.

  • Bank — enter the bank where the client holds an account.
  • Iban — enter the IBAN code of the client's account.
  • VAT payer — enable if the client is a VAT payer. Enabled by default.
  • VAT on collection — enable if the client applies VAT on collection. Enabled by default.

Additional information

This section contains two fields: details and GLN. It is not mandatory.

  • Details — enter details about the client.
  • GLN — the client's Global Location Number.

After you fill in all the mandatory fields and the desired ones, press Add to create the client or Cancel to discard the entry.
