Picking lists

Info

Picking lists appear in the menu only if the feature is enabled for your company. If you do not see it and you need it, contact the support team.

The picking list groups several outbound documents (customer orders) into a single document, so they can be prepared together in the warehouse. Instead of preparing each outbound separately, you gather several outbounds into a picking list and give it to an operator (picker) to pick them on the same route through the warehouse ("bulk" picking).

In short, the flow is:

  1. You create the picking list and add to it the outbounds you want to prepare together.
  2. (Optional) You assign a picker to the list.
  3. You prepare the list (Prepare), at which point the outbounds are sent for picking.
  4. The operator picks the products, after which the list and the outbounds move on to validation / packing.

The picking lists page

Here you can view and manage all picking lists. The page displays a table with the lists, each with a status and a set of buttons (Add, Delete and the table configuration buttons).

In the table you can see information such as: the list number, the creation and modification date, the status, the type, the total quantity, who created it, the comment and the assigned picker. Each row can be expanded to see the outbounds included in the list.

The statuses a picking list can have are:

  • Active — the list has been created and outbounds can be added to or removed from it.
  • Prepared — the list has been prepared, and the outbounds have been sent for picking.
  • To validate — the products have been picked and are waiting for validation.
  • Validated — the list has been finalized.

Info

If an outbound included in the list does not yet have available stock, the list displays the Waiting for goods status. After the products are prepared for picking and remain to be packed, the Waiting for packing status may appear.
