Adding a new category¶
How to add a new product category¶
- Go to Nomenclatures → Product categories
- Click the Add button
On the next page you configure the new category. The add page has two sections to fill in:
General information¶
This section contains two fields: the category name and the status.
- Name — enter the category name. Mandatory field.
- Status — toggle for activating or deactivating the category. The default is "active".
Additional information¶
This section contains a single field: the details of the category. It is not mandatory.
- Details — enter details about the product category.
After you fill in all mandatory fields and the desired ones, click Add to create the category or Cancel to discard the entry.
